HAMTC, through a collaboration with GE Additive and co-location of personnel, provides new and unique additive manufacturing processing routes.

Reduce Time and Cost for Prototyping

The vertical integration of HAMTC allows partners to go from design, build, join, test in one building. By using assets co-located in the Hypersonic and Applied Research Facility, including HAMTC, partners can analyze thermo-mechanical, wind tunnel, and combustion results in real time and use this information to redesign and print their version 2.0 prototypes. Through this vertical integration and Purdue-wide hypersonics eco-system, HAMTC can lower the cost and time for research, development, test and evaluation of hypersonic prototypes.
