How to Write a Competitive NSF CAREER Proposal Workshop

The Office of Research will host a virtual workshop for faculty across all disciplines interested in preparing a competitive proposal for the prestigious NSF CAREER Program.

CAREER-eligible faculty must be pre-tenured and may not participate in more than three CAREER competitions.

Participants will learn how to:

• Analyze successful CAREER proposal components
• Integrate education and research effectively
• Prepare for conversations with NSF Program Officers
• Identify institutional resources
• Use proposal planning and writing templates

Before the workshop: Participants should review the NSF CAREER solicitation and FAQs.
