Join Purdue University and the University-Industry Demonstration Partnership (UIDP) for an informational town hall on the Industry-Integrated PhD (I-PhD) Scholars Program, an NSF-supported national pilot designed to strengthen STEM doctoral education through university-industry collaboration. The program integrates dissertation-based PhD research with sustained industry engagement through joint mentorship and workforce preparation for PhD candidates.

UIDP President and CEO Tony Boccanfuso will provide an overview of the program, discuss how universities and companies can participate, and answer questions about developing university-industry partnerships that support doctoral training and research. The session will also include a brief introduction to UIDP’s broader Strengthen and Modernize U-I Partnership initiative.

The event is open to faculty, students, administrators, industry representatives, and others interested in strengthening university-industry collaboration and exploring new approaches to doctoral education. Registration is required. Please contact sir@purdue.edu with questions.
