The College of Liberal Arts and The Center for the Environment Present a CLA Research Synergy Panel on the Environment History, Public Opinion, and Environment

What are the ways in which public discourses around the environment are constituted? In drawing upon a historical and a communicative lens around the discursive constructions of the environment, this panel will explore the ways in which the environment has come to be narrated in public culture. Professor John Larson in History and Professor Jeong-Nam Kim in Communication will each present their works that draw upon historical and contemporary discourses of the environment, and will open up spaces for conversations about current policies and practices around the environment.
