Imagining A Sustainable Future Special Initiative: #DiverseCornBelt: Visioning What Can Come Next

Please join the Imagining a Sustainable Future Special Initiative as they team up with the Diverse Corn Belt Project to discuss the vision of what can come next. The event will feature speakers Linda Prokopy, Director of the Diverse Corn Belt Project and Department Head of Purdue HortLA and Associate Professor of Purdue HortLA Aaron Thompson.

In this event for the Imagining a Sustainable Future initiative, researchers from the #DiverseCornBelt (#DCB) Project will discuss how their vision for a more sustainable future drives their work. #DCB explores how to enhance rural resilience through diversification in the Midwest, Speakers will discuss how #DCB is generating evidence-based visions and frameworks for a more diversified agricultural system that enables a more economically, environmentally, and socially sustainable system for Midwestern farms, landscapes, and markets. This will be a starting point for discussing the theme of this series of events, how we consider and imagine sustainability across disciplines and spaces.  All are welcome.
