How Social Inequity Comes to Be Treated as Natural

Based on years of ongoing ethnographic field research, this presentation considers the experiences of work, health, and health care among indigenous Latin American migrant farmworkers in the United States.  The lecture will present case studies from specific farms and farmworker families and broaden to analyze the realities of migration, farm work, health and social inequity more generally.
