Priyanka Baloni (HSCI) is on a quest to understand the possible treatments options for Alzheimer's disease. In doing so, she built the first-ever human brain region-specific metabolic network that can map genes, metabolites, molecules and proteins in different regions of the brain.

Govindaraju, Merwade recognized at 2024 EWRI Congress

Congratulations to Rao (GS) Govindaraju (CE) and Venkatesh Merwade (CE) on being recognized at the ASCE's 2024 World Environmental & Water Resources Congress. Govindaraju received the seminal paper award for a paper he co-authored, "Artificial Neural Networks in Hydrology.l: Preliminary Concepts and II: Hydrologic Applications." Merwade received the best technical paper award for his co-authored work, "Uncertainty Analysis and Quantification in Flood Insurance Rate Maps Using Bayesian Model Averaging and Hierachical BMA."
