USDA Grant to Purdue Aims to Boost Efficiency at Dairy Farms

A team of Purdue researchers including ISF affiliates Jacquelyn Boerman (Ani Sci), Amy Reibman (ECE), Dennis Buckmaster (ABE), and Linda Pfeiffer (ASEC) have received a $1 million grant from the USDA-NIFA to improve feed efficiency and consistency on dairy farms by using automated video analytics systems.
