Purdue student and Global Sustainability Institute representative wins Udall Scholarship
September 30, 2013
Purdue student and Global Sustainability Institute Student Representative Allison Turner celebrates winning a Morris K. Udall Scholarship with Leigh Raymond, Director of the C4E and Purdue's Udall Faculty Representative. Udall scholarships recognize a student's potential and commitment to be an environmental leader, providing funding for tuition and education expenses and also bringing them to a three-day workshop for all fifty winners nationally designed to connect them to other student environmental leaders across the country. Allison is Purdue's first student to win a national Udall Scholarship since the program re-started on campus in 2006.
