PFAS--Forever Chemicals II: Examining Impacts and Implications for Indiana

This event, co-sponsored by the Hoosier Environmental Council and Purdue's Institute for a Sustainable Future, provides a general introduction to specific implications of PFAS use and regulations. In this second edition of this webinar series, scientists from Purdue University and the University of Notre Dame provide current information on the implications of PFAS in biosolids, how it is used for "Essential Uses" like advanced manufacturing, and current science around its presence in consumer products. Rounding out the event will be a discussion of policy and legislation of PFAS in Indiana as well as an opportunity for Q&A.
