IRB Members and Meetings
The Purdue IRB meets twice a month on Tuesdays from 9:30–11:30 a.m.
Studies requiring review by the convened IRB committee (“full board”) must be received by 5:00 p.m. one week prior to the meeting date and must be fully prepared for review in order to be placed on the agenda.
Meeting dates do not apply to most studies. Studies reviewed by the convened IRB committee include those that are greater than minimal risk or do NOT meet the criteria for expedited review. Exempt and expedited protocol reviews are conducted on a rolling basis subject to designated reviewer availability.
