Business Partner Number (BPN) for External Lab

• Please note: The Business Partner Number (BPN) is added at the institutional level when the institution/organization already has a lab. List of BPN’s currently in iLab can be requested from ilabhelp@purdue.edu.
• Determine if a BPN currently exists for the external customer:
  • Go to one.purdue.edu, then select the Finance Launchpad.
  • Login using BoilerKey.
  • Choose SAP GUI Launcher (top left tile).
  • Search current BPNs using the SAP T-Code “BP” – Maintain Business Partner.
• Create a new BPN:
  • Complete the BP Number Request form, then email it to EOBOC at procureeo@purdue.edu. Once it has been created, EOBOC will notify you of the BPN.
• Request iLab Help Desk to attach the new BPN to the external lab:
  • Send the following information in an email to ilabhelp@purdue.edu.
    • Name of external customer’s lab (PI and institution)
    • Full BPN
    • Do they receive a welcome email to set up an account? (Yes/No)
